After removal of the bezel pin, this tool fits into the groves on the purge cover and by twisting anti clock wise, this tool assists you in removing the purge cover. This allows the diver to personalise their reg with the different colour options that come standard with the regulator. As well as to make servicing the reg even easier. After many dives, if the regulator hasn't been cleaned in fresh water properly, dried salt can make the removal of the purge cover a little difficult to remove, but this tool will solve this issue. It will also help when screwing up the purge cover to align the bezel pin hole and the purge cover.
